Main Street Home Inspection Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide a comprehensive inspection of the largest investment you will likely make …. YOUR HOME. We pledge to provide a detailed and unbiased report enabling you to make fully informed decisions about your purchase. When we have completed your home inspection you can expect an easy to read report, along with an opportunity to have your questions answered to the best of our ability, for your complete satisfaction.
Why is a home inspection important
You've seen the nicely painted walls, buffed floors, and impressive granite countertops, and you've flushed all the toilets. Things certainly seem to be fine, but before you put down a deposit and agree to take on a big mortgage, you need to make sure that everything you DON'T see is in good working order. You will want to make sure the heating or A/C unit isn't on it's last leg, the foundation isn't silently cracking, and the roof isn't about to spring a huge leak. If you arrange a professional house inspection before the sale goes through, any discovered problems could still be the Seller's. If you choose not to have a home inspection done the problem becomes yours, and could prove to be very costly.
What a Home Inspection Entails
A home inspector's report will review the condition of the home's heating system, central air conditioning system (temperature permitting), interior plumbing, electrical systems, roof, attic, visible insulation, walls, ceilings, floors, windows, doors, foundation, basement, and visible structure
